We show you how SAP S/4HANA works: from strategic considerations, through design, to implementation.

Even though the extension of SAP ECC support until 2027 may seem like gaining time, it is important to use this time wisely and fully prepare for the S/4HANA transition. The streamlining of IT landscapes and processes that comes with S/4HANA requires your attention, from small, granular process steps to large structures.

It is essential for every company to make the transition as smooth and cost-efficient as possible. We support you with our S/4HANA service portfolio.

This service portfolio has been developed in parallel with S/4HANA projects and is tailored to the specific needs of each phase. The phased model accompanies you throughout the entire S/4HANA transition process.

You can find more information on the topic of S/4HANA in our flyer.

Which strategy is best for your S/4HANA SAP transition? – Brownfield, Greenfield, or a hybrid approach?

First, we will show you the innovations and changes that come with the SAP S/4HANA system. Then, we will jointly determine the target architecture that fits your company’s business and digitalization strategy, and define the best S/4HANA SAP transition approach for you:

S/4HANA SAP transition with the Brownfield approach

With the Brownfield approach, your existing ERP system, including all your data, settings, and extensions, is converted to the new ERP suite, S/4HANA. The major advantage of the Brownfield approach is that the S/4HANA SAP transition requires minimal resources!

S/4HANA SAP transition with the Greenfield approach

In the Greenfield approach, your existing ERP system is decommissioned and replaced by the newly implemented S/4HANA SAP system. During this process, you can transfer your data from your SAP or non-SAP ERP system, as well as selective extensions, into your new S/4HANA SAP system. The advantage of the Greenfield approach is that it counteracts complexity and replaces it with a streamlined system.

Your individual SAP S/4HANA Roadmap

In addition to the target architecture, a high-level project plan will be created, including sensible preliminary projects and budget assessments.

We will then develop a roadmap based on the analysis of your current processes and their transfer to the SAP S/4HANA target processes. Of course, we do not lose sight of the sensible or mandatory preliminary projects.

Our special phase-based project methodology allows us to execute the SAP S/4HANA transition professionally and efficiently.

S/4HANA for medium-sized businesses – transitioning to SAP with the Brownfield approach

Are you part of a medium-sized company and hesitant about the investments required for an S/4HANA transition?

With our strategy based on the Brownfield approach, we ensure cost certainty during the S/4HANA transition for medium-sized businesses. The focus here is on tasks that really need to be completed or provide significant benefits for you—without time-consuming preliminary analyses.

Lay the foundation for the future digitization of your business processes.

Step 1 of the S/4HANA transition:

The customer’s source system (ECC) is transferred to a secure data center.

Step 2 of the S/4HANA transition:

In our data center, the customer’s system is technically transformed onto an S/4HANA platform. After the technical transformation, it is documented which steps still need to be completed to create a final productive system.

Step 3 of the S/4HANA transition:

The customer’s system, which has been technically transformed onto the S/4HANA platform, is transferred to the customer’s target infrastructure, where it is then available for testing and customization activities, or can be accessed by the customer for further use.
